Christine Pringle
Founder
Christine began her career as a professional make-up artist, but it wasn't long before she discovered a passion for skin camouflage.
Inspired by the life-changing impact it can have on a person's confidence, she chose to specialise in this field and has dedicated her career to helping others feel comfortable in their own skin.
Her passion for skin camouflage comes from witnessing its immediate effect on self-esteem. Whether someone is living with a birthmark, scar, visible skin condition, or an unwanted tattoo, Christine understands the emotional impact these concerns can have and is committed to helping clients regain confidence through expert camouflage techniques.
Christine runs a private skin camouflage practice in the Republic of Ireland, currently the only practice of its kind in the country. Over the past 12 years, she has trained extensively and refined her expertise through both the Irish Red Cross and the British Association of Skin Camouflage (BASC), where she earned her Diploma in Para-Medical Skin Camouflage.
Based near Dublin, Ireland, Christine lives with her three children and is proud to co-found Skin Camouflage International alongside her friend and colleague, Lina Ross. Together, they are passionate about educating, inspiring, and supporting every student throughout their journey to becoming a skilled and confident Skin Camouflage Practitioner.

Lina Ross
Lina’s Skin Camouflage journey began in 2012 after the birth of her son. Inspired by her mother-in-law Val, a stage makeup expert with over 15 years of experience at the British Red Cross, Lina started attending Val’s clinics. Working closely with her, Lina developed a passion for the transformative power of Skin Camouflage.
In 2017, Lina trained with BASC and began running Val’s clinics in London. After Val’s passing in 2018, Lina continued her legacy by expanding the business, working closely with Plastic Surgeons and trauma patients, offering private clinics across three UK locations and providing Expert Witness Reports. Over the years, she has furthered her expertise with qualifications in Digital Micropigmentation, Scar Tattooing, and non-surgical treatments like Medical Needling, Skin Peels, and Mesotherapy, all aimed at promoting skin confidence and health.
Now based in Hertfordshire with her husband and two children, Lina’s dedication led to an inspiring partnership with Christine. Together, they created Skin Camouflage International, uniting their passion to educate and empower others while transforming lives through the art of camouflage.
Our Story
Lina and Christine both had the pleasure of training as skin camouflage practitioners in the same place, albeit a few years apart! Lina was first to complete her training with the British Association of Skin Camouflage (BASC) in Chester in 2017, and Christine qualified in 2019.
Their shared love for their craft was what bonded them in the beginning, and a natural friendship ensued.
With BASC closing its doors sadly in 2022, after 4 decades of teaching, guiding and inspiring so many students, Christine and Lina decided they would like to continue offering Skin Camouflage education, and thus, Skin Camouflage International was born.
It is their hope that by developing an online course, students will find completing it is a steady undertaking, especially if combining it with other studies, work and family responsibilities. The beauty of having once been camouflage students themselves, Christine and Lina understand how difficult it can be to add studies to an already busy life schedule.
As you learn at your own pace, you are always supported online by your tutors, Christine and Lina, in case you have any questions.
This unique course is accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world! The only time you will need to travel, is on the final day for your workshop practical, and SCI offer these in both the UK and Ireland! This is sure to be a wonderful day, where students get to meet each other face to face, as well as their tutors, and receive their Certificate of qualification.
