This course is designed for anyone who wants to become a Skin Camouflage Practitioner. As a student, you will gain the knowledge and practical skills to help people conceal scars, birthmarks, old tattoos, and other visible skin conditions using specialist camouflage techniques.

Skin camouflage is a simple, safe, and non-invasive solution that helps minimise the appearance of these concerns, enabling clients to feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.
The course is open to anyone with an interest in Skin Camouflage, and no previous experience or qualifications are required. It is particularly popular with nurses, beauty therapists, and make-up artists, as it complements their existing skills and broadens the range of services they can offer.

About the Course
During this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to confidently provide Skin Camouflage services to a wide range of people with various needs.
You will learn how to assess skin conditions, master colour matching, and expertly choose the correct products for each person. During the practical workshop day, you will work with live models, refine your techniques, and receive hands-on guidance from an expert trainer.

Our course is CPD Certified, ensuring high-quality professional training. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification, recognising you as a qualified Skin Camouflage Practitioner. This certification enhances your credibility and allows you to confidently offer skin camouflage services.

Successful completion of the Skin Camouflage International Training Programme confirms that the delegate has successfully met the required standard of the course. It remains the responsibility of each practitioner to work within the limits of their own competence, maintain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance where required, and comply with all relevant legal and professional requirements before treating members of the public.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the course allows you to study at your own pace, fitting your learning around your personal and professional commitments.
The course is made up of three key components:
1) Online Theory – The course begins with a series of bite-sized online learning modules, allowing students to study at their own pace. Each module is followed by multiple-choice questions to reinforce learning and assess understanding. A comprehensive student manual is provided to support you throughout the online theory component of the course.
2) Case Studies – Completed at the student's own pace and submitted electronically for assessment. Students are required to complete case studies covering birthmarks, tattoos, and a range of visible skin conditions of their choice. Each case study must include clear before-and-after photographs, together with a written summary outlining the service provided, techniques used, and the outcome achieved.
3) Practical Workshop Day – Also known as Models Day, this is the final stage of the course, where students join us for an interactive, hands-on practical workshop. During the day, students work with live models, refine their techniques under expert guidance, and have the opportunity to ask questions, build confidence, and consolidate everything they have learned throughout the course.
Please note that students are required to bring their own kit for the practical workshop day.
Once you have successfully completed and passed all three components of the course, you will be awarded your Skin Camouflage Practitioner qualification certificate.
As outlined above, the majority of the course can be completed remotely, offering flexibility to fit your learning around your existing commitments.
NB* Once enrolled, students will have 12 months to complete the course requirements and achieve their qualification.
